TA Triumph-Adler is extending its range of multifunctional devices with two new units. The models DC 2045 and DC 2055 (copying speed 45/55 pages A4/min., 22/27 pages A3/min.) feature great productivity and simple operation. The different functions can be easily selected using the large, clear touch panel.

High productivity
After a warm-up period of 120/180 seconds the first copy is produced after 3.9 seconds. The productivity in duplex mode has been considerably increased compared with previous models.

With the DC 2055, the standard paper storage of 3,600 sheets can be increased by a further 4,000 sheets to a total of 7,600 sheets. Two mutually independent, large-area cassettes ensure that large copying/printing jobs can be carried out without interruption. As a result, these units are predestined for use in areas where high-volume copying is required or as the latest generation network printers.

Network use
With the optional network card, the DC 2045 / DC 2055 become the printing center for the network. Saved print jobs can be called up independently from the PC via the unit's touch screen display.
With the scan option, paper originals are converted into electronic documents for forwarding and processing via the network. Formats up to A3 are scanned in seconds and are then available as e-mail for sending to PCs on the network or in Twain-compatible form for further processing, e.g. for archiving. Dual access enables printing and scanning to be carried out at the same time.

High-speed output in tandem mode
By combining two units (DC 2045+DC 2045, DC 2045+DC 2055 or DC 2055+DC 2055), copying or printing jobs can be split up and output in parallel. This considerably reduces output time. 

Wide range of finishing options
Equipped with brochure-stapling functions as standard, the finisher can be expanded by the addition of the optional folder and hole-punching units for professional finishing. The mailbox, also available as an option, takes care of the further processing of already punched, stapled or folded documents. For simpler finishing jobs the DC 2045 can be equipped with a so-called ECO Finisher. This sorts the output documents and in staples them.

A resolution of 1800x600 dpi (interpolated) ensures that the image output is of the highest quality. Files from different applications can be produced as one job. This also applies to the combination of scanned-in and electronic documents.
