TA Triumph-Adler Digital copier systems - DC 2315 (March 2003)

Press release March 2003

TA Triumph-Adler introduces the smallest and lightest digital copying system in the world (status January 2003) at the CeBIT exhibition:  the TA Triumph-Adler DC  2315.

With a set up area of 496 x 421 millimetres and a weight of 14 kilograms, the DC 2315 outdoes all models in the market in terms of size and weight.  The compact design renders that the system can easily be installed in any location. It is therefore especially suitable for use in smaller workgroups.

The DC 2315 copies at a speed of 15 pages of DIN A4 per minute with a resolution of 600 x 600 dpi. The memory capacity is 16 MB as standard and can be expanded to a maximum of 144 MB.

As an option, the system can be fitted with a second paper cassette. This enables the standard paper capacity to be increased from 300 sheets to a total of 550 sheets. An ADF with a capacity of 50 sheets is also available as an option.

Outstanding price/performance ratio
The system offers many functions as standard, which with competitive models are only available as an option or are not possible at all. These include the electronic sorting of documents to be output and multiple printing after scanning-in an original just once ("scan once - print many").

Toner consumption can be reduced by up to 30% by implementing the so-called EcoCopy mode. This mode is useful for creating copies of pure correspondence or for internal use.

Simple operation
The DC 2315 is easy to use thanks to the clear operating panel. Functions such as 2-in-1 or 4-in-1, sorted copying or even the selection of heavy paper are set up simply by pressing a button on the operating panel.

This digital copying system is expected to be available from July 2003.
