TA Triumph-Adler continues to expand customer base: Document specialist acquires another dealer in Düsseldorf
Nuremberg, 17.01.2007. TA Triumph-Adler has purchased the well-known specialist dealer unikopie in Düsseldorf effective as of January 2, 2007, and is proceeding on schedule with its acquisition strategy. The newly acquired business will be integrated directly into TA Rheinland GmbH in a further step towards the planned development of the company’s market position in the Düsseldorf area. Following the acquisitions of MKS (Düsseldorf) and Sankopie (based in Kaarst) in 2005 and 2006, respectively, the TA Rhineland Group has now added an additional 700 machines in field and around EUR 2 million in sales. The transaction includes assets and inventories, the active customer base and the majority of the workforce.
The TA Rhineland Group comprising TA Rheinland GmbH, with headquarters in Bonn and six branches of its own throughout the region (known as Solution Centers), key account focussed TA Consulting GmbH and TA Benelux B.V. is pursuing a policy of consistent growth. With over 41,000 machines on contract, when it comes to analysis, implementation and efficiency improvements in the document business, the Group has attained a leadership position in the German state of North Rhine Westphalia.
Managing Director Frank Eismann commented: “The successful development of the TA Rhineland Group is underscored by sales in 2006 in the upper double-digit million range. In fact, the Group put on almost 25 % over the year before. Our strategy of profitable growth is further supported by this acquisition that will add to the sustained market penetration of the TA Triumph Adler brand in the Rhineland.”
Customers including both SMEs and major national firms stand to benefit from a particular, and in this form unique business model based on TA Triumph-Adler AG’s concept of Total Output Management. With TOM, TA Triumph-Adler, the specialist in document business efficiency, offers customers integrated, individual solutions covering all aspects of document printing, copying, faxing, scanning and archiving from a single source, including its own service and its own financing. TOM delivers cost savings of between ten and thirty percent in this field – without altering the existing IT infrastructure. TA Triumph-Adler has been offering and implementing this integrated consulting concept for several years with great success both in Germany and internationally.
In the first nine months of 2006 TA Triumph-Adler AG, the specialist in document business efficiency, boosted its core business by 10 percent over the year before and achieved sales of EUR 273.1 million. Around 400 document consultants and over 500 system supporters serve some 30,000 customers with more than 150,000 systems on contract. With a market share of over 10%, TA Triumph-Adler AG is by far the market leader in Germany. In financial year 2007 the company expects to see further growth and an additional improvement in its market position. And thanks to measures largely already implemented in 2006 to streamline internal organisation and improve efficiency, the outlook also includes a further sustained improvement in operating profitability.
